The story
Sixteen years in corporate operations, leading teams of more than a hundred people through the ordinary difficulty of scale — competing priorities, thin margins for error, and the constant question of who decides what.
Then five years in the social sector, taking education technology across 112 districts in India: the same leadership problems, with far fewer resources and much less room to be wrong.
In every room, the same pattern. The strongest leaders were not the smartest people present. They were the most connected — to themselves, to their people, and to something larger than the quarter.
